    Spot plans become effective the day after purchase. Accident & Illness coverage begins 14 days after the effective date.   • What if my pet currently has an illness?

    You do not need to answer health questions or undergo a medical exam to enroll in Spot. We will collect any vet records from your veterinarians once you submit your first claim.
