Everyone needs an annual eye exam, and most families have at least one member who needs glasses or contacts. Eye exams can help detect health problems, like high blood pressure and diabetes. VSP network doctors will give you the personalized care you need to take care of your vision and overall health.

These are the periods when you are eligible to enroll for Vision Insurance:

Within your new hire enrollment period
If you have a qualifying life event (you get married, have a baby, etc.)
During your employer’s annual enrollment

Who is the provider?

VSP was founded by a group of optometrists in 1955. More than 65 years later, that vision has evolved into providing world-class products and services to eye care professionals, employers, and more than 80 million members worldwide.

Who in my family is eligible for this coverage?
Members of your family who are considered eligible to enroll for coverage include:
- You – if you are an active part-time Associate
- Your spouse/domestic partner
- Your child(ren) – under age 26

How much does this coverage cost?
Monthly Rates
- Member only – $5.93
- Member + 1 – $11.27
- Member + family – $17.20

What if my employment status changes?

Upon separation of employment with Ross or dd’s, you may be eligible for continued coverage under COBRA. If you’re eligible you will receive a COBRA packet from VSP. If you have questions, contact VSP at 800-400-4569.

When would my coverage start?

If enrolled during annual enrollment, your coverage effective date is October 1 of the current year.

For new hires and qualifying life events, coverage is effective the first of the month following enrollment.

How do I submit a claim?
You don’t need to submit a claim if you see a VSP network doctor.

For out-of-network doctors:
- Login to your vsp.com account
- Click on View Your Benefits, then My Benefits
- Scroll down, click Submit an Out-of-Network Claim and follow the prompts
Contact VSP Member Services at 800-400-4569 for help submitting a claim online or by mail.

How do I locate an in-network provider near me?

Click here and enter your ZIP Code to find a list of in-network providers near you. To ensure you find a doctor who participates in your plan, wait until your enrollment is processed, then create a vsp.com account and log in to find a VSP network doctor. Or contact VSP at 800-400-4569.

How can I cancel my vision coverage?

You can cancel coverage during the annual enrollment period or if you have a qualifying life event. Contact VSP at 800-400-4569 to make changes.
